Here’s something to be thankful for this holiday week – the weather. Ocean City is fortunate to be in a temperate zone. Yes, last winter was an exception. Although snow, wind and cold prevailed, there were still magical moments with snowflakes sparkling in the bright sun. This past October presented us with some of the best weather on earth! The sky was that blue you see only once a year, the sun was warm, and it was an ideal time to stroll the beach or boardwalk, have a run or a bike ride around our great town. Thanksgiving week 2011 is calling for a mixed bag of clouds and showers with the sun breaking out on the Holiday itself. Predictions for Black Friday are even better, with warmer temps and sunnier skies. For all the nay-sayers out there who complain about the two or three days of recent rain, or the clouds and cold winds, I say to them “Look at the snow in Minnesota and count your weather blessings this Thanksgiving!”
